Drug discovery programs

Vichem works in collaboration with leading European Institutions on its drug discovery programs which are substantially supported by European grants.

Vichem has developed lead compounds effective in nanomolar concentrations against more than 30 kinase targets which have been utilized partly by our partners for various drug discovery programs. Vichem also provides and has provided nanomolar patentable hit compounds for its contractual partners.

Since Vichem’s Nested Chemical Library™ of kinase inhibitors contains more than 19,000 compounds and it is a chemically very diverse library we have used it successfully in various pathological and cellular disease models, for hit and lead finding.

Vichem’s in house research programs include oncological kinase targets (like EGFR, Aurora, mTOR, Axl and FGFR), infectious disease targets (Infuenza, HIV, Tuberculosis) and CNS/inflammatory targets (Epilepsy, Neurogenic inflammation like Rheumatoid Arthritis).
